INDY 500 Race Day, May 28, 2006, 90th Running

This was our first time to the speedway on race day. Through word of mouth we came by some real good extra tickets from a long time ticket holder. We sat under cover and directly across from pit out. The sights and sounds are unmatched, but being there you end up slightly out of the loop - if you do not have a scanner or TV feed. Luck ...

INDY Museum

We stopped by the INDY Museum the morning after the race when the crowds were much smaller. Good friends of ours won tickets to the 500 but they did not know if they were going to go, as it turns out, we "physically" ran into them in the museum, small world.
